Anybody using the McDSP? He came out with the 6050 Ultimate Channel strip a bit ago and it's on sale. You can get it for $179 at audiodeluxe right now.
It's very similar to the Slate VMR. 10 different eq's and 10 compressors, some gates and saturators. It's on sale through June so I'll demo it right now. Wondering if anyone else has tried it and liked it. I know a lot of big name guys have used McDSP since he started forever ago.
This particular channel strip is kinda cool because it keeps the settings of your comp/ eq and allows you to quickly choose between different models, so you can audition the character of each one immediately with the same settings. Seems pretty useful.
