-clean vocal parts are great.
-playing is perfect. No mistakes. Amazing.
-drum sound is awesome. Drumming also.
-it reminds me a lot of Between the buried and me, the dillinger escape plan, necrophagist, sleep terror and so on.
-anyway i'm not too fond of this kind of tech/prog metal.
-vocals are ok when your singer is really screaming but when he's not he sounds quite bad (like his voice is broken or something). Reminds me a little bit of Maylene and the sons of disaster singer, who seem to have the same problem to me. He should watch the Melissa Cross dvds

[Poor attempt at Humour]I think it really helps keep things symmetrical with Tech Metal and ensures a nice Stereo Image, apart from during the harmony parts. It's what's known as Symmet-Tech-Metal [/Poor attempt at Humour]

Good stuff Dez, it's good to actually see those riffs played.

Thanks for all the comments. We will have more videos done when we finish recording the EP, with a possibility of Stabwound by Necrophagist for a bit of a laugh.

awesome playing.. Just didn't really find a "groove" that a lot of the tech metal stuff has [re; necophagist, dillinger, ion dissonance etc].

this shit would be 10x better if the grooves were more 'groovin in the pocket' stylee' and less perfect 16th note grid headbob, IMO.

that's all i'd work on. get that push/pull thing going and you're set..

Cheers for the comments guys, and the everything has been taken on board. We recorded the drums through a electric kit, triggering DFHS. I probably went a little too far with the editing. Next time, hopefully with live drums it will have a better feel.

I think the last song to be uploaded has a better feel to it. Its nearly finished, just a few more things to sort out.
