Hey all

(a message before you read this, if you havent heard the original song Desperate Cry by Sepultura I strongly suggest you check it out before watching this video so you can relate to the song when you\if you watch the video)

This threads mainly aimed towards the musicians (guitarists mainly) and just need a little feedback

or
http://retspace.orcon.net.nz/Ret - Sepultura-Desperate Cry.avi (27mb but WAY better quality than the above)

Whenever I tried uploading to youtube the audio just goes out of sync with the video :<

It's not 100% right but I think I did OK.
1: didnt play the intro thing cause I couldnt be bothered heh
2: the whole of the outro riff I didnt play quite up to scratch and I ended up stopping the chugging on E and just did the chords.
3: the riff that starts at 2:08 I ****ed up a little bit cause of the nervousness I get when playing and knowing I'm being recorded and cause I'm not used to standing up and playing I can usually do that riff quite well sitting down
4: I improvised a little bit of the solo I do just near the end before it ends on the 12th fret.

Oh, and thats Beck's I'm drinking :p

Anyways, feedback is appreciated on just anything I can improve on - and what do you reckon about the guitar sound? someone told me there's too much gain but I reckon I got it soundined pretty nice - the setup is just a peavey rage practice amp to a metal zone mt2 to my guitar.

Thanks.

Fantastic. One of my fave songs by Sepultura too (lost interest after Chaos AD). I don't play guitar although I do have some knowledge. I did notice that the guitar solo wasn't quite right towards the end as you're probably aware anyway. Everything else seemed fine except the mistake you already mentioned. I loved the headbanging too.
