Mechanized Warfare digipack

I jst picked up the Mechanized Warfare digipack. The packaging for the album is fantastic. Century Media has impressed me several times with their packaging, especially when it comes to these special digipacks.

After 2 spins, I really like the album (yes, I have catching up to do in the JP catalogue). It has some nice progressive touches, which I always enjoy.

It's truly one of the albums which changed my musical perspective, no doubt about it. I still listen to it often and can't get bored at all. I don't know why people label Panzer as "power metal" but, well I never heard a power metal band writing songs such as Scarlet Letter or Hidden In My Eyes... This album is just brilliant. I think the same of Casting The Stones. And what I like the most is the difference between the albums, a totally different atmosphere.
