Megadeth to tour with Testament and Exodus!

Well...not in my books...I actually rate them higher than Megadeth...there's certain type of sickness in their music and lyrics that I like....plus they started the Bay Area thrash metal thing...

Anyway in my opinion that's an awesome package...why Anthrax don't do tours like this one? Why they'd rather play for rap fans...I don't get it...

...too bad though that Heathen had to cancel their European tour because of this...

I don't believe Anthrax prefer to play rap over touring or playing gigs. The fact is that Exodus are a hollow shell...Its Gary Holt. Thats (hypotheticly) like Kerry King calling himself Slayer...its too funny.

Funny you aren't saying the same thing about Mustaine, since he's the only original member of Megadeth.
TECHNICALLY, Scott Ian is the only original member of Anthrax (they had a drummer before Charlie). So what? If the band rocks, they fucking rock.

Also, Alex Skolnick of Testament is missing this tour. Ex-Megadeth guitarist Glen Drover is filling in.

Anthrax aren't doing anything but festivals at this point. And I doubt they will do too much more, if John rejoins. He's not into doing a bunch of small clubs again. The only way Anthrax are going to tour is if they book bigger tours, even if it's as odd as with Public Enemy (though honestly I don't know if Public Enemy would make it outside of clubs either - but then again I'm not a rap fan so I could be wrong).

Its about core members, yes I also put Megadeth in the wagon with Exodus.......Scott, Charlie and Frank have been in Anthrax since Spreading the Disease...long Time...I'll say that Megadeth (Dave Mustain) is far more talented than The Gary Holt project Known as Exodus.....Anthrax would be smart to grab Suicidal Tendencies and D.R.I. and do a summer/fall tour.

EXODUS busted their asses harder than ANTHRAX, and they put out a fuckload more better albums than ANTHRAX. Therefor EXODUS should be apart of the big4, NOT ANTHRAX. ANTHRAX are from the new york, not the god damn bay area. Start your own big 4 east side wannabe's.

Hahahahahaha... You lost me right there man.

It's called "Big" 4 for a reason. That is sales, popularity etc. When are people going to get this??!! Anthrax have sold 10 million + records. If Exodus have sold anywhere near even half this I'd be surprised. And I love Exodus too, but I'm so sick of people whining about this!! And since when did the whereabouts of the band's origin have anything to do with this?

East side wannabe's?? That was funny!!!!!!!

Megadeth line ups have changed so much over the years it's hard to keep track. However, their latest LP is awesome and I look forward to seeing this line up crank out the entire rust in peace album, a few standards, and a few new ones.

I didn't know skolnik was sitting this tour out. He's playing the same club 2 weeks earlier with his solo band supporting Rodrigo and Gabriela. I'm going to that too.

All these kick ass shows just a couple of blocks from my apt. I remember Anthrax playing here way back in 1998 with a whitfield crane fronted Life of Agony.

I can see bush not wanting to do a small club tour stateside in small cities to half packed houses. I can't see why a package tour with a few other bands in major cities and larger clubs isn't out of the question.

My point was that Anthrax would need this kind of - sort of mainstream metal (Megadeth used to have radio hits that even girls liked) - tours in order to regain their reputation as one of the best...Metallica, Machine Head (or Slayer) plus Anthrax tour would be my dream come true...

Chuck D and Flavor Flav may join to Bring The Noize as a very special guests...:)

Yeah hopefully sometime soon. Doesn't seem to be much focus on it. You'd think after this much time they would want to get the vocals recorded and get it out there already.
