DI > Ampeg SVT > EQ

Both tracks get sent to a master bass buss

Multiband comp > EQ (cutting more mids, sub and resonant bass peaks) > Hard Comp > limit

Job done


Kick is slate kick with EQ, comp, limiter and saturation.

Might I ask what distortion and how much you low passed on that track?

amplitube the 5150 amp model with the cab turned off and it being sent to a different cab IR after

then HP at 500-600

then i brought it down to around -10 or -15db in comparison to the other bass track and sent them both to a bass buss and compressed them as hard as possible without the bass starting to freak out.

Also saturation after the comp can help with merging the two sounds together.
