I have registered with an agency for that already. I have been told by all the job agencies I ring up I am highly employable yet I don't even get a god damn call for an interview. What the hell is wrong with the world when a person of my experience and skill can't even get a foot in the door.

Xena, try being unemployed for 16 months and not being able to get anything from the fuckin government. Im always ringing employment agencies,going into see businesses, sending resumes away and applying for jobs in the paper. I can't get a break. Being unemployed fucks your self-esteem so much.

Well when you have worked since you were 14 being unemplyed suck immensly.I apply for on average at least 10 jobs a week....not a nibble nothing.I hate it. I feel like I am worthless etc.

the better half went through all that gear.

It was great when she was fresh out of school, there were "traineeships", where the employer got a handout.

Once she got qualifications, then the employment agancies all pointed out that she was highly employable, just that no-one was prepared to employ her.
