Thats why, where I live (Romford) we have renamed the high street "The Gaza Strip" due to all the shit that happens / wankers you get there.

(I am a football fan, by the way and have to say, England played crap, and Rooney is a twit)

ESSSEEEEEEEEEEEEX!
lol

yeah agreed, we havnt played agood match in the whole tournament! did you watch the france match? now THAT was football

International football to me means very little compared to club level stuff. Supporting Chelsea to me is incomparable to supporting England. To most people football means nothing, guess its just one thing people get or not. Still a bit disappointed that England are out.

As far as the hooliganism goes, I think for the most part it has died down. However, people who get involved will not fight with people who don't wan't to be part of it. For example its between 2 sets of fans who are looking for a fight, and the police (also looking for a fight). I think for the good of the game, its good it is being wiped out although going to Tottenham away (as a Chelsea fan) is by no means safe, but still exciting and enjoyable. Watching football is a much safer affiar than what it was in the 70's and 80's. I think other countries are trying now to match what was going on in England then and feel they have something to prove.

Curious as to who everyone supports here - I have stated im a Chelsea fan, but would like to know where other people's allegiancies lay. I'm lucky enough to be able to travel over Europe to see Chelsea. I remember seeing in an interview that Andy was a big Derby fan and wanted to play for them (i think). I'd be curious to know if he still see's The Rams and what his memories are of it. Also I'd be interested in what teams other people from the board in the UK support as well as the Europeans amongst us, and curious to the view of the American's which is one place in particular where Football (or soccer) has never really taken off.

You guys think C.Ronaldo will be able to play in England again?...Seeing how crazy the English people are about football...I would trade the fuck out of there.

I've been a Liverpool my whole life but been watching Chealse the last few years supporting my fellow Icelander Eidur Gudjohnsen...wich was traded to Barcelona this year so I'll probably just stick to Liverpool. Hope he gets some game time at Barcelona. Allot of guys fighting for the same possition, messi is insane btw...
