This is a friend's band that I recorded and mixed for free (not $15/h
) to help them out. They are extremely low on budget and the video is not great but thinking of the shitty metal scene here, I think they are doing pretty good even if it's not on very professional level. I do this for fun and to help others out who can't record shit on their own. I'd like to get some criticism though.

Gear used:
Gibson LP Studio Vintage Mahogany for rhythms.
Gibson LP R8 for leads.
Yamaha RBX375 and Ashton 5 string for bass
ENGL e530 Preamp into Apogee One.
Recabinet 3
Metal Foundry with replaced kick and snare.
Stock Logic 9 plugins.
It's not my job to produce or mix and I don't plan to do that for a living but I love doing this for fun.
