There's my friend's music. Originally written in Guitar Pro, for now there's about 10 songs which are being recorded for the LP. Everything instrumental for now, a good screamer would help us a lot (like Ihsahn, ex-Equillibriums - anybody?).

But for today we have much more serious problems - as always, mixing.

Demo, mixed by our friend - which is really good, but still is not what we wanted (need sound more like Gojira in guitars and bass, Keep of Kalessin drums, i guess).

EP (remixed demo song), mixed by ourselves - which sounds like shit.

Guitar Sound - GTR3,
drums - ezdrummer (for now Superior 2.0 + Metal Foundry)
bass - it sounds so pathetic, i really have no idea what to do with it.

Any suggestions?

It's a bit big for just a simple electro bass - is it worth it? I'm pretty sure it's full of stuff which we probably won't ever use. For now it's Prominy SR5 bass, maybe there's something similar with better sound, or maybe it's a matter of midi arranging? The best choice is a live bass player, but zombie apocalypse is near and the album better be released until Wunersun's Time... Or we will probably never hear it at all.

only listened to the demo mixed by your friend , and i like the song a lot ,, really cool and catchy !
keep it up , i would like to hear a whole album of this stuff... heard a couple drumming mistakes in there too , but nothing to much..

Thanks) But really, any advices of how to make it sound like Gojira? Maybe someone did it already, have some amp presets or anything? Or maybe an advice like, you know, cut guitar frequencies above n Khz and below m Hz, don't use so much compression.

We're trying everything that we can, blindly, but, seriously, the word of advice would help a lot. Before we added sidechain compression and made it into pretty drum'n'bass.
