Another band I work with from time to time in the vein of TBDM.

What do you guys think? There is something similar about all my mixes keeping them from studio quality that no matter what I do I can't seem to remedy. Almost like as if the powerful lows and highs in the mix are lost. I think it may have to do with the quality of my DI's, from a POD.

Anyway, take a listen:

Honestly, I think it sounds really good over here on my end. Are you talking about the guitars feeling a bit muddy?

Vocals sound great though I think sometimes they sound a bit buried in the mix but really it's nothing major. Maybe bring them up a TAD bit. And I mean a tad.

It sounds really good, man.

Guitars need more treble/high end. They sound a little stuffy.

Try EQ-ing each instrument to fit in the mix better, you have a lot of stuff going on in the mid/low end range.

Also, the entire mix is pretty squashed. I can hear a fair amount of digital clipping.

The vocals sound good, but they are too quiet as wiiii said.

I was thinking he guitars were possibly too trebly. I guess I'm just a victim of my shit monitoring again.

But thanks for the pointer on the vox guys.
