With Christmas Day just a week away I thought I'd take the chance to wish everyone a Merry and peaceful Christmas and all the very best for 2025.

After a couple of not so good years for me post 2020, 2024 has been a much better year and feeling much more like my old self so to speak. I'm looking forward to seeing Avantasia in London in March and then Helloween in October.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL

Sorry to hear things weren't so peachy but pleased that this year felt like turning a corner. Here's to bigger and brighter endeavors in 2025! Including, hopefully, some catching up at gigs :headbang:

Health, wealth and the best of festive wishes to everyone!

Absolutely mate - I'm up for some catching up at gigs for sure. Didn't we once have thread about next gig attending and so on? Or did I imagine it lol

Last day of 2024 is upon us - it's been a good year personally, by far the best since the turn of the decade. Looking forward to 2025 with renewed optimism that's for sure. Looking forward to getting out to more shows again this coming year too.

I just hope and pray that we can somehow arrest the way the world is going too - the warnings from history are never heeded are they? Society is fractured due to people mainly only interacting with people of the same view and beliefs which will just take us backward I'm afraid to say.....not only that, it's mainly spouted from behind a keyboard as well.

Don't spend all your life on social media ranting and raving about things - get out, meet people, have real conversations. There really is more to life than being mean and selfish.

Happy New Year one and all!

Well said Steve, wholeheartedly agree (from behind a keyboard haha). It struck me today as I was listening to PQ that lyrics from 2008 expressing dismay about the way the world was going are as relevant today as ever. The pessimist in me can only dread the inevitable headlines which will diminish even further the faith left in humanity but let's hope for better anyway.

Wishing the very best for 2025 for all reading these humble words

Indeed mate - we've not covered ourselves in glory since 2008 have we? Despite our politicians seemingly doing their level best to feather their own nests and those of their donors, I'm not having their nonsense drag me down into the abyss of their own making.

It's a new year - new experiences to share with others, new music to share with others - that's where I'll be focussing my attention, not on our narcissistic, self serving leaders. Time is marching on - let's make the most of it
