Ah the Christmas routine. Tomorrow I'm singing with my parents' choir at the Christmas Eve service before getting dinner at a fancy place in Harvard Square.
Christmas day I'm going to my sister's to open presents with the family. Then in the evening we're cooking a lobster-stuffed beef tenderloin in bernaise sauce, served with roasted potatoes, asparagus and stuffed mushrooms, with chocolate mousse for dessert. Too bad my grandmother's no longer abled enough to join us anymore.
I bought my baby nephew a UMaine hockey jersey and UMaine wine glasses for my folks. I expect a leather jacket and loads of cash in return.

You'll probably see me pass by as you dine, desperately searching for gifts at the last minute. I always do my Christmas shopping in Harvard Square.
I'm gonna try to get my mom Steven Colbert's new DVD, I always get some cookies and tea for my grandparents, and I'll get my brother some video game. I'm gonna try to find the firefly dvd set for some family friends. Dunno what I'm doing for my dad or aunt. I'll figure it out last minute as usual.
I'll be away from my family for the first Christmas ever, with the girlfriend's folks. I shudder to think what her family will be cooking up, considering that every time I'm there an ordinary lunch is like Christmas by my standards.
I do the same as all my relatives and give money if I can't think of anything better. Which I usually can't unless someone makes it clear what they want.
My plans involve sitting around doing nothing tomorrow.
And christmas day, eating and drinking heavily with my dad whilst my mum judges the fuck outta us.
Were not celebrating Christmas, which is fine with me really.
I will however cook an Epic meal. i got myself a whole Rabbit and A Goose. One for 24, one for 25 ( german christmas, American Christmas).
I think im gonna make Applewood Smoked Bacon wrapped Rabbit loin with Caramelized Fennel, Fennel oil and something else. For the Goose ill just go traditional.
I'll be spending tomorrow night with the girlfriend and her dinner she's cooking with her family. then christmas day will be spent with the girlfriend, my mom and my sister. fuck knows what we're eating. I'm only required to bring my appetite
no because your whole post gave me the image of happy white people all standing around in christmas sweaters laughing. a roaring fire in the fireplace. babies being cooperative. young children playing with each other. the food cooked to perfection
it's like something out of a Thomas Kincade painting. I don't know
