After reading about 60 pages of threads on the forum about re-amping and tracking; I feel like I'm on information overload and extremely excited to say the least about stepping in to the world of re-amping. :kickass:

Before two days ago; I had no idea what the term meant or how it was done; although I have been tinkering with recording guitar at home for a couple years and this seems like a great way to do it.

Although I don't have a limitless source of cash flow; I'd like to jump start my gear assortment after this Christmas rolls around. From reading everything I've ascertained the lengthy amounts of equipment I will need to get started.

I've decided on pretty much everything but the audio interface I will need. I have a budget of up to $300. I only need 1-2 channels as I will only be tracking guitar and possibly vocals. I've read reviews on dozens of interfaces in the range but I just can't make up my mind based on reviews and specs since I really have no idea about the products.

tl;dr: I need a low cost USB interface for tracking re-amped guitar and possibly vocals.

Toneport UX2 is really cheap and perhaps the best you're going to get (in that price range) unless you want to look at separate interface/preamps.. and that will probably cost a lot more.
edit: I don't know if you can reamp guitars with the UX2.. I've never reamped so I don't know the mechanics of it all.
