Mesa Standard vs. Traditional Cab?

Just make sure to look all around you on craigslist, and see if a seller from far far away would be willing to meet up somewhere to do the swap! Yes, this means you wouldn't be able to test it, but just talk to the guy on the phone before doing it so you can get a rough reading on the sketch-o-meter, and those speakers are meant to take a beating :D And yeah, the increased height (and slightly increased width) really does make a difference in exactly how you might think; IMO it really opens up the tone and lets it breathe, focusing and distributing the mids much more evenly!

thanks for the answers Marcus!

edit: doh, the question was about straight and slanted

Hahaha, yeah, I asked that in a thread too - and when he says Boogie Standard Cabs, he means he Traditionals, the one taller he has is definitely a slant (too lazy to look for pics/quotes, but trust me on this :D)
