Mesa V-amp / Koch Pedaltone / ENGL Tube Toner

As it seems to be a lot of guitar players here I'd like to ask if anyone of you have any experiance of the following guitar preamps, Mesa V-amp / Koch Pedaltone / ENGL Tube Toner
The are all all-tube foot-operated floor units. I am thinking about geting one of them and ofcouse I would prefer to choose the one of these best suited for my needs. I play metal ( douh ), a bit like older Paradise Lost, Moonspell, MDB etc.
Any suggestions? Wich of these would be best suited for this?

The user reviews section can be really informative.

But, er no, sorry, I use a Zoom GFX8 and a Sound City (classic British tube).

I've read all the reviews at harmonu central but there's only two or three reviews for these spesific products. ( That Mesa should be a V-twin by the way.. )

I think it will come do to either Koch or ENGL. They both have their pros and cons. Musamaailma should also have Koch gear so I have to go and see if they have both of them in stock so I could try them out side by side.. The ENGL Tube Toner has the MIDI controll on its side but Koch has 4 tubes against ENGLs 2 tubes.

Must continue my investigation...
