Messing around with CurveEQ

Hello..I've recently learned the vst Voxengo CurveEQ could make miracles, on which it's being used:Smokedev:, and tried to create a "Soundtrack to Your Escape"-ish Tone by In Flames, hope you like it and ofc your comments are awaited..



Edit: Damn, i've made this all thru my AKG K-99's and when i listen it from my speakers, it sound boomy and a little mid-less and OH is a little much :/

What u suggest getting it biggger then?

snare is waaay too loud, could do with more room (not much, mind).

after which you can bring up the loudness a fair bit.

curveEQ'ing and the like, is as close to magic as you can get, but there isn't as much satisfaction from getting a tone like that..!

also, the guitar is out of tune quite badly at 1:20 ish.
