My girlfriend and I met them at the MOMD sighning after the whiskey show in LA, we were starstruck, charlie has been my idol for most my life... although the seemed tired after kicking major ass on stage (understandable) they took time to meet and sign with fans and i thought that was great and they all seemed really nice... charlie seemed like he didnt want to shake anyones hand, when people stretch out there hands to shake he put up a fist to do the fist bump... charlie personalized his drumhead for me.... it was great
Charlie also pointed and smiled at my gf's nightmare before christmas purse...
and Rob was kinda flirting with her lol... who can blame him she's HOT!!!

oh how do you post pics on here ill post my autographed stuff and my hot girlfirend sporting hers lol....
Charlie's not big on shaking anyone's hands, really. I'm not sure why, but it's nothing personal.

I know why. Remember that one interview that a few of us read about Charlie's carpal tunnel?

I got to meet them last summerat Riverfest in Somerset, WI. The security there really rushed us along but was still worth every moment. I had my pic taken with Charlie and John (turned out all blurry though :( ). I was a blubbering idiot in front of Scott since I've idolized him since Jr High. It was very cool because while most of the bands would come up and meet the fans at the tent they had set up, Anthrax had everyone come backstage to meet them. They handed out a promotional poster for MoMD and everyone signed it. Still trying to get around to getting it framed.

After that, Rob was hanging out in front of the stage during Twisted Sister's set and was jamming out with everyone. I have a bunch of great pics from that show, including some of Charlie having to set up his set and a couple wicked pics of Dee Snyder.

The story I heard was that in the middle of Chicago, his drum tech got out of the car and left the band. No joke. I was at the Chicago show right before this festival, and Charlie was shit out of luck because he had no tech. It would be more difficult to hide this fact at a festival.

I lived in L.A. for precisely one year, (Memorial Day 2000-2001,) and just happened to live in Scott Ian's neighborhood. (Kevin McDonald from Kids in the Hall also lived there.) Anyways, I've been an Anthrax/S.O.D. fan since '88, so I kind of geeked out every time I bumped into Scott. I would just say dumb-ass things like "Man, Anthrax kicks ass," or "Dude, 'Bigger Than the Devil' is incredible." He was always friendly in return. Funny, I ran into hundreds of celebs over the course of that year, but Scott was the only one I totally marked for. Something about meeting a guy I often pretended to be, as a kid.
