I have never heard of this band, and can't believe how alike those guys look. Having checked this pic... http://www.systemofadown.it/photos/group015.jpg ...the guy top right does not look quite as I remember, but the beard style does. The guy top right could be the one who said he was called John. The guy bottom left I definitely saw in Nobu, but did not come down to The Met Bar. And the one bottom left is def the guy who talked about Armenia.

But...none of these guys is the one who said he was "the singer" (did not specify band name). Who was with the PR woman. He could have been a nobody I guess...

Also...the first guy we spoke to (who my wife danced with) is not one of this band and I still think he looked just like this guy on the left, whom I'm told is Joey Vera... http://www.anthraxtheband.com/images/IMG_3987.jpg

So is this System Of A Down band playing Donington? I saw Anthrax are billed, so this seemed to fit in with what they'd said...

Most of the band is coo, all but that Scott guy, the first time i met him he spit on me and punched me in the face. Crazy guy that man is.. lol

there is a john in the band, but he is the drummer........ john doleman ( summink like that anyway) ........ and top right in that pic you posted is john ( which confirms what you are syaing)......., serj ( bottom left is the singer) my guess he is the one who never went onto the bar

as fer the other "singer", support band maybe?!?!!?......and the joey vera look alike who knows.........the pic you are looking at is about 3 years old tho...........so shavo ( top right) is bound to look a little different by now

but yeah, least you know what band it was now........you must know of system........one of the biggest rock bands around these days........they even get into regular music charts.......

Re: "the singer" I now remember someone said he was brothers with the guy you say is Serj and the singer. So I think he was just talking the p*ss saying he was the singer because his brother is.

Did seem a little weird.
But yeah, John, Rob and Frank were hella cool when I met them. Scott and Charlie stand offish, but still got a picture with them, and actually, because I was stupid and couldn't figure out the disposable camera, the pictures inside backstage didn't come out. The one's of couse with John, Rob and Frank. Even had one with Rob and his girlfriend. I'm not taking chances next time, got a digital camera I know how to work and a phone that can take pictures. Have used that to take pictures of Portland Trailblazers after the game signing autographs.
