Hey @CiG have you listened to that Critical Defiance album?
I'm starting to rethink my statement about the music being better than the artwork.
I haven't listened to it all yet but I'm a bit under whelmed by what I have heard, the single "What About You" appears to be the best song on the album.

It's probably worth giving a chance to make up your own mind but I was hoping for more than they delivered. Although the bandcamp stream might be a less than perfect quality too so that might have had something to do with it.

Dream Theater release

Leaked. First impressions are positive. It's not going to win over any haters but it might be the best thing they've done since Systematic Chaos.

I was pleasantly surprised. Not amazing but was tolerable for a change.

I really enjoy the main riff, but the chorus is dangerously reminiscent of Iron Will... However, it's a great singalong track as expected. I feel really good about the upcoming album; hopefully it's better than Sword Songs which was somewhat underwhelming after the excellent Triumph and Power.
