It's neither as extensive, or half-decent as Metal-Archives, but I've been using the metal observer thing. Only needed it to check a couple of albums going for cheap on Plastichead.

For a review site, yes. But for an archive on metal bands, it is terrible.

I use bnrmetal.com a lot when I just need a quick check of some info. The site usually loads pretty quick for me, so it works out well.
