Metal Attenuator ebay

Did a quick search but didn't find anything about these on here.
I am ebaying for a thd hotplate and came across this. Does anyone know these? They are alot cheaper than the hotplates and I wonder if they do the job without blowing my amp up. That's all I want to know.

Its bullshit. It's just two bits of wire and a .02c volume pot, certainly not an attenuator.

Thanks, this saved me from wasting 30$ then lol.
How does the guy have 8000+ positive feedback? If this is useless, sure somebody would have mentioned it in form of negative feedback.

Any other suggestions attenuatorwise? The THD stuff is ridiculously expensive. I just want to be able to drive my amp past volume 0.5 without my neighbours calling the police on me.

Bear in mind that an attenuator itself isn't much more. The prices THD Hotplates and other attenuators cost are ridiculous.

Seemed pretty reasonable given the current exchange rate and the fact that a hot plate retails for a whopping $500 here and pretty much every dealer in the states is out of stock until some time around May.

I'll second the choice of Weber attenuators. I've had my MiniMASS for several months now and it does it's job perfectly. Great price, hand built to order, all over a great company with wonderful products.
