Hi!

So I thought I would post snippets of my latest mix;

Drums are DKFH with replaced snare and kick.

There are 4 guitar tracks; used TSS and Solo C with impulses (+the famous "Andy Sneap setting" if I remember correctly).

Bass is just a downpitched guitar. ;)

I won't change anything on this certain mix but I use almost the same settings for all the songs for this project and so any advice would be helpful. :)

And yeah...the kick is too loud I guess...but that's the sound the guy I'm doing this with wants. ;)

That's 'kin brutal man. Me rikey! Kick is super loud. Might be over powering in my car with subs but on my little harman/kardon PC speakers there was plenty of snap to it. Would like to hear more.

man, you are a great vocalist! I loved that last breakdown! the only think i didn't like in it was whatever cymbol was on there. It sounded too... floppy? for a breakdown/beatdown? I dunno, beatdowns are usually nice and choppy. So you should keep everything about them choppy, IMO.

Got a master bus compressor on there? Turn that shit down dude!
Or maybe a drum bus comp? This shit is pumping like fuck.
But the thing is, it sounds like a sick mix that's just been made to pump like fuck, so ease up on the comp.
