This is it! Mind Revolution came in the mail today...I've only listened to it maybe 3 times, but already I absolutely can't get enough of it. Its so...just perfect for what I look for in an album. Its got that swedish melodic death feel with those insanely nice guitar leads. The keyboards give it the perfect atmosphere. And between the drums and some of the bass lines Jonas rips out...the rhythm section is also quite awesome. So far the stand out tracks for me are Haunted by Shadows and Uncloud the Sky. But like I said, I'm still getting into it. Sorry if I seem to be raving...but this cd just has me...arghh :hotjump:

yeah man, for serious, one of the things i like best about Skyfire's sound is the tight, floating, and sharp guitar riffs that float over certain parts of songs such as the chorus of "Dawn Will Break" and the verse of "Dimensions Unseen" (combined with that extraordinarily airy and beautiful piano scale). awesome as hell.

Mind Revolution has been at the top of my "holy shit this is so awesome I won't even bother to take it out of my CD player" list since i got it haha

The opening bass line in Dawn Will Break! Holy shit I could listen to it over and over...that song has the sweetest intro! I keep hearing new shit every time I play it.

I'd vote for it! That has to be the most creative song on the album. Easily one of my faves. Each track has a sound that is all its own. And each one is amazing. \m/

I'd have to agree with you there neal. That song is just mind-blowing. Coupled with "Blinded By Euphoria" and you have the best 1-2 punch on the album IMO.

I'm afraid the albulm is a bit more of a 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 punch for me. After I listen to it I feel quite sonically battered.
