Post the metal stuff you got for X-mas! Here's what I got:

Opeth-Deliverance hoodie! :worship:

Iron Maiden-Eddie's Archive boxset ( I can thank my lovely wife for that one. Actually she was the only one who "gave the gift of metal" this year!) :OMG:

Slayer-Soundtrack To The Apocalypse boxset :kickass:

Black Label Society-Boozed, Broozed & Broken-Boned DVD. :Smokin:

Devildriver CD. By the way, I don't want this to turn into a " I hate them because they are on the Opeth tour" discussion so I'll just say I liked what I heard when I downloaded a couple tracks, so I wanted it. By the way I HATED Coal Chamber. ;)

Death-Live In L.A. CD :worship:

Absolutely metal X-mas! :headbang:

I can say I had a really shitty xmas..but whatever..I did get some cool stuff though

-3 shirts (Nevermore, Children of Bodom, and In Flames)
-Gift cards..(best buy, fye, sam goody, and hot topic :tickled: )
-A promise that my mom will pay for my Opeth ticket when it's on sale. WOO.
-Money is metal..$92.. why not make it 100?..geez.

Oh and me and my brother are getting a new piano..yay..I think i'm supposed to be receiving more on New Year's..another boring party to go to. :Smug:

I got some other things..but they're crap.

Well.. after saying that i guess I'm happy...

I got money and bought some cd's
Slayer - Reign in blood
yngwie malmsteen - rising force
symphony x - twilight in olympus
children of bodom - follow the reaper
iced earth - burnt offerings
demons and wizards
Nocturnal Rites - afterlife
Opeth - Blackwater park (Opeth collection is now finally complete)
Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle-Earth
Symphony X - V The new mythology
Symphony X - s/t

I got Rush In Rio...and it's THE BEST live dvd I've ever seen! These guys are GODS!:worship:

and...
Slayer Soundtrack To The Apocalypse box set.:headbang: ..yay!

not much...
Lamentations DVD
Astriaal - The Throne to Perish 7" EP
Astriaal - Renascent Misanthropy

And then my best mate shows up on the doorstep with a copy of My Arms, Your Hearse Tin Edition... merry christmas aye!

Jackpot!

Ayreon - In the Electric Castle (So much Moog...but in a good way)
Death - Symbolic :headbang:
Diabolical Masquerade - Nightwork (some great lead melodies in this)
Diabolical Masquerade - Ravendusk in my Heart (from Blakkheim, but it hasn't arrived yet)
Diabolical Masquerade - Death's Design (weird, but good)
Edge of Sanity - Purgatory Afterglow
Godspeed You Black Emperor! - F#A#Infinity
Jeff Buckley - Live in Si-ne
Nightingale - The Breathing Shadow (a LOT better than I expected, but Dan usually exceeds my expectations :worship: )
Nightingale - Closing Chronicles
Nightingale - Alive Again
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon remaster
Rush - Moving Pictures (classic, and deservedly so)
Soilwork - The Chainheart Machine

I think that's it...I know it's not all metal, but I listed it anyway. This is a combination of immediate and extended family, mind you. So, this was a very good Christmas.

Which Slayer box did every one get, the 4 disc or the 5 disc? I bought the 5 disc, that one is $100, but with my employee cost I got it for $60 at work.

Lets see, my Christmas this year....

I got a bad ass car alarm for my truck (beeps in your pocket when your alarm goes off)
Tinted windows
Killers t-shirt
Metallica shirt (new shirt, 3/4 sleeve with the Kill Em All pic in the middle)
West Coast Choppers Beanie (not really WCC, because every one and their mother sports it, but it's pretty damn warm with that thing on)
Lots of jeans
and $100 extra cash

Silverchair in Holland?
Shit I never realized just how well they've done for themselves... there are hundreds of Aussie bands that kick the shit out of them! Well... maybe not hundreds...

CDs:
SX - The Odyssey Limited Edition
At The Gates - Slaughter Of The Soul Reissue
Opeth - Blackwater Park and Deliverence
Shadows Fall - The Art Of Balance
Stratovarius - Elements Pt1

Shirts:
In Flames
Blind Guardian

i'm saving some of the money i got for a new drumset, too

It's funny being a diehard Opeth fan and really liking Silverchairs last album Diorama :D. That guy can sing!

I am also a big Opeth fan and I still love Silverchairs music.
