yeah, most of the world metal community dont knwo about chinese metal or even rock. There fore we are doing our site. The scene is growing very fast, hope some chinese bands can play outside China one day for real. TANG DYNASTY have been playing once in Berlin, but that was not a real metal gig, only some few general journalists and rock fans showed up and I knew that news from a Daily Paper which my teacher gave me. So the metal press of Germany didnt know about that. That was 10 years ago....

i always believe there are metal all over the world so it doesn't surprise me that there are some good metal from China

Since we opened our horizont onto rock instead of only metal in the beginning there are to much works to do. We dont have all metal bands on the site and we are still updating newer and older bands.

Yeah, metal is not only existing in China, it is a very vivid scene there. In Summer nearly every week end you will find some metal gigs in Beijing. Other Cities like Xi'An, Tianjin, ShangHai etc. are also providing a good scene.

Like everywhere else it's not that easy for metal bands to get a deal, plus the music industry doesnt pay attention on metal at all, so you wont here much about chinese metal bands. But some few cult bands made it to release some CDs, take a look on Bands like HADES, RITUAL DAY, HERESY, REGICIDE, VOMIT etc.

ps.: The vocalist of the German Thrash Band ASSASSIN is living in Beijing for 9 years now. Hopefully he will sing on a chinese thrash metal album of the Band BLOODBATH this year...

Interesting. I've always wanted to know about Metal in China. You sound like a good asset to the board for developing the international Metal scene which is why i'd like to give you a warm welcome.

thank you so much Profanity for your kind words. But the only reason we do this is we like our scene and we are proud of it. But the outer world seems to know nothing about the happenings in here and since I am not a musician the only think I can do to be envolved is trying to promote the local scene with Mag and this web. Hope our bands can play outside China oneday so you can make your own opinion about them.
