Metal in a Nashville studio

(OT) I have always wondered how can people stand to work in a place where the computer screen is off to the side where the monitors are only hitting one ear (directly). Especially for hours and hours of tracking. I am assuming they just didn't want to block the window to the live room with the screen?

Last I heard the Abbot's studio is still down there, but I'm not sure how much metal has gone through since the last few Pantera albums. I wouldn't be surprised if some of Hell Yeah's releases were tracked there, but can't confirm.

Nick Raskulinecz (Shadows Fall, Goatsnake, My Ruin, Rush, Alice In Chains, Stone Sour, etc) has used studios in Nashville as well for some big projects.

You are one lucky duck! There's not really much in the way of big studios like that in the UK anymore, and like fuck you're actually able to get a job in one if you find it!
