So one of my friends is going to host a metal karaoke night (lol)... I've been searching for some covers without the vocals, and I was wondering if any of you have any you've done but haven't shared, or some with vocals you could get rid of? I've found these so far that are really good:

I've also tried the method of splitting left and right and inverting the phase but the bass goes, the vocals don't completely go, and the drums end up sounding like shit. I thought maybe I could layer it with some programmed drums, and putting a lowpassed version of the original in with it as well to get some of the bass back in. Any ideas? I'll probably do some covers myself too, but I'm gonna have to get better at mixing in the process
