Metal mix (demo for a band that I work with) need opinion

Here's a mix (it's an intro) that i've made for a small local band.

On my part the only thing that I can think of it's some automation on the guitar between 1:00 and 1:20

hmm, bass guitar is very muddy. needs more clarity. the guitars are too lowly overdriven. they have more of a southern rock feel than a metal feel.
