METAL MONTH..November Toontrack to release 4 metal products?

was it just me, or was just about every one of those snares super thin sounding? i like the first one, but the rest were meh...

Sometimes it's not about having the biggest, beefiest snare in the world. None of these snares sound thin to me at all though IMO.

Honestly, records with really massive sounding snares have started to wear on me. At first it was cool, but now it's become completely distracting from the music itself (where my ear can't help but fixate on the snare, and it's extremely annoying), and ubiquitous across almost all genres of music. If you listen to a lot of the classic mix reference albums, the snares sound amazingly thin and papery compared to today's accepted norm.

Snares aren't kick drums...
