I am a Film and TV production student at Bournemouth University. I am in my final year and am shooting my graduation film in mid February. I am making a metal musical. It will be very operatic in tone with some violent bits for the kids! The story is inspired in parts from the Norwegian Black Metal scene and the rivalry amongst people from this era. I want to tell a classically tragic story of love, betrayal, murder and regret. The film will be 10 minutes long and consist of approximately 3-4 metal musical numbers.
Ive tried using the normal casting methods but no one looks or feels right in the parts. Was wondering if there were any aspiring young metal actors out there based in the UK?
I am looking for male actors aged between 20 and 26 who would suit the role of a metal band singer. Singing is not required as the musical numbers will be recorded by a local metal band. I will be shooting in London (UK) over 4 days and guarantee it will be a good laugh.
If your interested or can point me in the right direction thatd be cool.
