STRATOVARIUS - In studio to mix Elements Part 2
"Yesterday 11.2. Timo Tolkki entered Finnvox studios in Helsinki with Mikko Karmila to mix the songs for "Elements pt 2". Some vocal overdubs will still be recorded as well.
Final tracklisting is not available at this time yet, but some songs that will be on the album include: "Alpha&Omega", "I Walk to My Own Song", "Awaken the Giant", "Liberty", "Season of Faith´s Perfection", "I´m Still Alive", "Dreamweaver".
The planned release date for "Elements pt 2" is at the moment set for Oct 2003.
"Elements pt 1" has been a huge success all over the world and Stratovarius wishes to thank its fans from the amazing support.
The band is looking forward to the tour very much and will reward the fans with the biggest stage set that they have ever had with lots of surprises!. "

John McEntee takes over vocals for INCANTATION!
Necropolis Records and Incantation are proud and excited to announce that the new guitarist/vocalist for the legendary Death Metal act INCANTATION is none other than founding member/guitarist John McEntee. The band have always been plagued by line-up changes in the vocalist department, but with this personnel change, that is in the past. McEntees style follows the tradition of INCANTATION vocals, dark, cavernous, haunting and tortured, all of the things that fans have come to expect from the band! Any and all nay-sayers will be utterly silenced after witnessing the amazing live footage of the band filmed just last week in Mexico both at www.necropolisrecords.com and www.incantation.com

DARK MOOR - "Between Light And Darkness" EP
"The new work of the spanish band has a name, "Between Light and Darkness", and will be launched in April. The record sessions were the last summer in the Cube Studios of Madrid, where the band record four acoustic brand new themes that will be included in the EP, in addition to the bonus tracks that were included in "The Gates of Oblivion" and "The Hall of the Olden Dreams" for the asiatic zone. Another track will be a fabulous orchestral version of the fantastic Dies Irae. So the new CD will include the following tracks:
- A lament of misery (Acoustic)
- From dawn to dusk (Acoustic)
- Memories (Acoustic)
- Echoes of the seas (Acoustic)
- Fall Of Melniboné (Bonus track from The Hall of the Olden Dreams)

CHINCHILLA - Fast Eddie Clarke Guests
CHINCHILLA just finished recordings for their fourth album "Madtropolis" in the House Of Music Studios, Germany. Produced by the band and Achim Köhler, CHINCHILLA managed to record eleven songs of pure joy that range from melodic ballads to pure and powerful HEAVY Metal!
Legendary ex-MOTÖRHEAD guitar player Fast Eddie Clarke played an awesome solo for the song "When The Sand Darkens The Sun" when he visited the band in the studio. "We got in touch with him during our tour with Paul Di Anno", CHINCHILLA guitarist Udo Gerstenmeyer explains. "By the end of last year we just sent him an e-mail with our request and he was straight in for it. It was so easy. Eddie is such a nice guy and the solo he played is awesome!"
