Has anyone noticed our iconic hand gesture being used increasingly by others not even remotely interested in metal or even rock lately? Hope it's just a passing phase

yea it sucks to see it being used in pop concerts like One Direction and shit but what can we do

Nothing really, it's a shame . Just wanted to see if anyone else is noticing the general trend though

You see it a lot to signify any kind of "fuck yeah" moment. I almost never actually use it as the "devil horns" and to be honest I think the cliche "throw the horns" thing is overplayed anyway unless you're at a metal show and throwing it with the crowd.

It's definitely been adopted by the mainstream, and they can fucking have it. It lasted a nice long time but at this point it's become too cliche and overused.

I propose we take back the Nazi salute. Let's see mainstream kids steal that.
