Metal that Sounds Like Other Metal (Volumes 1-28)

There are 28 segments in this series and all of them are rather enjoyable (and surprising at times- i.e. Kreator sounding a hell of a lot like YYZ or Conception doing the same thing as Pantera). I'm not going to list them all as you can easily find them on youtube. Here are a few to give you an idea if you want seek out the rest...

I find this enterntaining, even though some of them are a stretch (Chicago/Green Day Kiss/STP). The one that I have an issue with, not really an issue - perhaps an opinion - is the Metallica/Megadeth for RTL and Mechanix. I may have my facts/timeline incorrect, but isn't Mechanix the Four Horsemen with different lyrics, which would have been written before RTL? So Metallica sounds like... Metallica?

I never realized Trip of the Brain sounded like MoP.

Funny I was listening to Helloween's "Save Us" off of Keepers II and the guitar solo break is almost exactly the same as the solo break from Rainbow's "Kill the King."

Yeah....it seems like Kai tends to "borrow" a lot from other bands/musicians. I always hear Priest, Maiden, Queen and others sprinkled through his music. Hell, he lifted part of the solo from "Hotel California" in "All Of The Damned" from the Land Of The Free cd. It's kinda fun to pick out the little "tributes" he'll toss in the music.
