Metal tone with Guitar Rig

i did a short tone test with Native Instruments Guitar Rig. I´m not a big fan of Guitar Rig but somehow i like the sound

I love the way you have a Kemper sitting there but play with GR, which is really not that good The only usable metal sound I could find in it was with the Rammstein addon. I have a Kemper now and have been desperately trying to use some aspects of GR like its effects but find it really colours the tone in a bad way.

Nice tone. It proofs that you can achieve a nice sound if you know how to use your gear. I have a similar Jackson guitar, with the same pickups and just could not achieve a better tone than yours yet, even using other sims that are considered better than guitar rig.

It sounds quite good actually. I mean, coming from Guitar Rig, you can't expect much more ! Not bad at all !

Of course i prefer the Kemper I think it´s not so much about the gear, it´s more the playing. If you have some good played takes it´s easier to make them sound good with a shitty plugin.
I´m not a big fan of Guitar Rig for guitar tones, but i really like the fx stuff for a lot of stuff.
