i have been trying to make my riffs sound good with all these plugins for about a month now. I have all nick crow stuff, revalver (i bought it off craigslist) and guitar rig 3. Every time i record something no matter how hard i try my tone sucks. Ive tried everything and i think its my clean tone from my guitar/interface. I quad track, i eq, i compress but nothing i do sounds good. Ive put up a link with my riff through Nick Crow 8505, Revalver and guitar rig 3 all with the awesometime pres high impulse. Ive also included what it sounds like as my clean tone. Anyone know what might be wrong?
