Hello, I am the vocalist of a band called Scarlet Shroud. I was wondering how many other metal singers there are on this forum.

I sing, both harsh and clean, and play a little guitar and bass, but there are no opportunities for bands in my hood and I'm not too good. My harsh vox are alright but my cleans... not so much

Metal is a ferocious form of music. Choir boys have no place in Metal. Provided you can talk fast in a melodic way, scream, shout and growl youy should be ok.

But that will get very boring. I don't want to sound like anyone else around. I want to have a nice mix of the two and work in my writing to shift between the two in order to be unique and individual. I like to sing and scream so work on and do both.
