Are we right thinking that metalbands are much better then the popmusic you hear on the radio?

Which one is the best :
Mozart , The Rolling Stones , Metallica , Snoop Dog or The Spice Girls ?

It's not 'fair' to compare these... I hate pop but they might be good in what they're doing, BUT metalbands surely deserve more respect 95% of the time, they write their own music, they can read notes, play instrument, etc... While pop is based on money, which I hate
