i know u guys are gona hate me for this one but i just got the new Sum41 and there's a few tracks in there that are actualy heavy, one of them actualy sounds like an old metallica song, i still cant figure it out though

these fucking sub-genres confuse the hell outta me sometimes....I mean, there are just to many "core" genres...hardcore, grindcore, deathcore, metalcore, skatecore...what the hell?

But crossover, now I'm pretty sure I know what that is and I have no problems with it...shit like Suicidal Tendencies - Join the Army, and I believe S.O.D.'s Speak English or Die have been described as crossover.

Now as far as this "metalcore" band your talking about, I haven't a clue...where did you hear them anyway?
