Metalcore practice mix

Hey guys, just looking for some feedback on this mix I was working on today.

Took the vocals and bass from the stems uploaded here by Icem4n, recorded the guitars myself and programmed the drums.

I've been practicing using Slate VMR which I have downloaded a demo of, and I am seriously liking the sounds it achieves.

Mix sounds pretty good.

I would work more on the kick sound but that is perhaps subjective territory.
The whole mix sounds a little too "dark" in my opinion.
Otherwise good job!
