The album does speak for itself. If you worship Cynic, then Aghora and Gordian Knot (I can't wait for the new one) are mandatory listening.

How many bands is Steve Digiorgio in? I'm not complaining, mind you; he is my favorite bassist. Currently he is in Death, Control Denied, Sadus, and Testament, plus he played on Iced Earth's Horror Show. I guess I'll have to check out this Dark Hall band, too.

I guess Sadus doesn't count much either because they haven't recorded since '97 or something like that. He posted that they were writing new material, though, so we can always hope.

It would have to be a tossup between In Flames' Clayman and Blind Guardian's "Imaginations...".
It is, however, *not* MDB's "Meisterwerk I", because instead, I have MDBs Light at the End of the World. They not only gaie me the wrong album with no such indication, I bought it for the video track on it (Cry of Mankind), which, of course isn't on there. I assume it to be a packaging error, but the label of the CD is even "Meisterwerk I"
I had to use the net's CDDB to sort out that little error.

I can email you some .mp3s if you like (of Aghora). Their debut has topped my all-time best list; at least for the time being. It's like Cynic, but with enjoyable vocals.
That's about how quickly they entered my must-buy-now list as well. I heard Transfiguration and was sold. It is actually through them that I got into Cynic, strangely enough.
