Metallica Live in Holland December 6th

Well , a little frustrated about all the replies on the great Anathema gig in London, and all the fun you all had over there, I thought let's start a thread about the reason my girl and I where not there.

Metallica played in Gelredome in Holland December 6th
I am sure there are some people on this board who likes them as well.

For those who are interested, this is what they played

We managed to get in the Snakepit
Tho to be able to, we needed to stand an hour in the freez'n cold outside before the doors opened, well it was worth it.

Damn, it was so loud I still have a peeeeeeeeeeeep in my ears.

On what festival they will play in June?
They mentioned something to be back in Holland next year in June as well.
In Amsterdam, will probably be the Arena ( a footie stadion )

Try Ebay,
maybe you find some there,
tho I think they will be very expensive.

it's not dead expencive always, like at the rollingstones concert, they sold the tickets for max 15 € (normal price 50)

if i had know it, i went to see

so, go and try if you really wanne see them

ah, they did not played that much of St.Anger ( I gues with a reason ).
Only two bad songs they played from that album, cuz the title track is Ok i.m.o.
Especially live, you would not believe how nuts the audiance went.
It sounded great, and a pit bigger then with Whiplash!!!!!

Saw METALLICA at Fields of rock festival this summer (in Nijmegen, NL)... It rocked my ass off! How can it be different with a band which starts the set with Blackened - No remorse - Harvester of sorrow AMAZING! They'll be back in may/june in Europe, I hope for graspop!!!!

Not sure if it was with Opeth or Anathema, as I was with both gigs drunk.......

Metallica was Great!
They had 3 big videoscreens, the well known sort of bridge in the middle of the stage.
The fireworks where amazing!!! Explosions, magnesium bombs, smoke, fire.
Maybe even a real helicopter flew over at the intro of One, I'm not sure....

@gorik: when i heard about it , i started trying to get ticket, after a few hours i succeeded and a few hours later they were all sold out

They'll be here for Rock in Rio in Lisbon with Guns n' Roses. Hope the setlist is kinda like that one.
