get over it fuckers.the reason most of you are here today, the group that put into metal half of today's metalheads is metallica.respect that at least and shut your miserable mouths.

Well, I thought Tounela was ok, but they went into the shit tubes after that. They're sub-contracted to Virgin Records, and that made me have to go take a liquid shit after finding out.

Agreed.

Sure the band is one of the greats, Kill Em All, Ride, Justice, Master... all great albums.

But in recent years they've proved again and again they dont deserve a damn ounce of my respect. It's not like they really care. They're garnering a whole new generation of numetalheads to buy their albums now. But I'm not falling for it. Shame on you, 'tallica, shame on you!

Either way I'm not really sure how you can sue over E and F chords... that's just... to be honest, terrifying. And I don't see how you could honestly defend any band suing over another band that happens to use 2 of the same chords they do. :Smug:

I love some of their past albums, but as far as respect... HAH.

Yes, them suing the band is a joke, but if you are suggesting that this news is false, then you are wrong. Metallica is suing a Canadian band for using the sequence of the E chord followed by the F chord. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! Oh yeah, everyone associates the E chord followed by the F chord with Metallica. You could ask anyone on the street, "Hey dude, what band uses the E chord followed by the F chord?" and they will answer, "Metallica, of course, dude."

From blabbermouth.net:

METALLICA Subject Of Online Prank, Thousands Of Gullible Non-Fans Fooled - July 17, 2003

Here's hoping that this will put a stop to the countless e-mails we have received on this subject: A fake METALLICA news story currently making the rounds via the Internet has the San Francisco metallers suing Canadian rockers UNFAITH over "unsanctioned usage of two chords METALLICA have been using since 1982: E and F." Satirical online magazine ScoopThis.com was responsible for concocting the unbelievable tale, which has been picked up by several legitimate news outlets, including MacDailyNews.com (article since removed). Check out the FAKE story from "MTV.com" and "Metallica.com".

I mean c'mon ppl..HOW STUPID can you get?sorry but i can't accept criticism on metallica,or any band,by kids with an iq under 50 who would believe anything they were told.now i see why it wasn't that hard for bush to convince you that saddam had weapons of mass destruction-which are yet to be found btw

hmm...I repeat:

Ah, nevermind....I really don't think that anyone on this board realizes that I am never serious, except when I talk about religion....and god.
