Metallica with Lombardo

Just heard from a friend...it´s possible, due to Lars´ illness, Dave Lombardo will fill in for him for the rest of the tour and will be playing 1st of July in Prague...of course I´ll go to the show no matter who is behind the kit, but I guess I´ll have the chance to hear Dyers Eve and the other songs with some ass kicking drums (which I seriously doubt with ole Lars on the drum riser). Holy shit dude, this is gonna be so awesome!!!!! :hotjump:

I hope that's true. We'll finally get some badass live Metallica recordings. I'd love to see that. Even though technically it just would not be Metallica without Lars, he's really fucking awful live...all over the place during the faster songs and some terrible drum fills.

However, during that gig where Lars missed the show, Lombardo did one song and Metallica were happier with the dude from Slipknot filling in than Lombardo, so I doubt this is true.

only reason they didnt like Lombardo was cause Slayer is more of a rival band, least i think so, and maybe it was cause Dave was showing up Lars way too much.
