Not inherently, no.Lyrics about love/relationships are not inherently more thoughtful than any other sort of lyrics, you queer.
That would be a first for you, I think.
Not inherently, no.
But in general, I think.
Or maybe not, I don't listen to a lot of shitty romantic pop.
Come to think of it, the last love song I listened to was Motorhead - Too Good To Be True (which is an awesome song).
Yeah, I agree, definitely. It's just that people always set these oppositions up in such an unfair way. When people praise some lyrical approach at the expense of metal lyrics it always seems that they are opposing something they view as good or valuable against metal clichés, but I could do exactly the same thing in the opposite direction because anything that has solidified into a genre or trend has its fair share of insipid clichés. Furthermore, something is not of higher value merely because it concerns itself with introspection or some human feeling.
I own all their others, might as well...it also seems like it might be good.Anyone else feel obliged to buy this new Metallica outing although you´re90% sure it´s going to be crap? I shouldn´t buy this considering what a huge letdown st anger was but still i´m probably going to for some reason. I mean,if it wasn´t for what they´ve done over 20 years ago they probably wouldn´t even be able to get a record deal with the song material of current years.

And Justice for All is my favourite Metallica album. I hate anything after it, though.
More like Death Pathetic, amirite?
Honestly, if I can hear the bass on this album, that will be a step in the right direction in and of itself
You do know you could just not post at all right? You're a weird mother fucker
These.Conversations.Are.So.Redundant.same here. black album was the downfall of metallica
