Why do you think that HIM kept getting a bad reception ? Do they sound as good live as on their cds? Their cds are incredibly good IMO. One of the few newer metal bands that I care to listen to.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore HIM and Dark Light was one of my favourite albums of 2005. I'd seen them twice live before, once at Donington 2005 and once at their own tour and they were excellent both times. The thing is that their music isn't really going to appeal to the average Metallica fan and putting them as main support was an incredible stupid thing to do. I know for a fact that James and Kirk don't like them at all. I just felt really sorry for them at every show. Ville put no effort in whatsoever cos I think he thought "why bother?" cos he wasn't going to win them over. I bought tickets for their Glasgow show in December so hopefully their confidence won't have been dented too much.

It is a damn odd fit to try and make.
May be time for a camera upgrade Jenna. My new one is performing much better.

They weren't Metallica's choice so I guess it was done by the venue's (Wembley invited Metallica to play, Metallica didn't book it) or the management to try and increase ticket sales by using popular acts. I'm surprised MCR weren't on there!!
No way - I adore my camera!!! Video's aren't a big part of why I have it so I don't mind. I'm going to try and synch up the audio with the Live Met recordings when I get them. Plus the bass and drums were SO loud at the front (especially Stockholm), which is why it's so crapped out.

What made me laugh about the suprise that Paul sent ya was the fact that someone posted a copy of the set list for that night and we snagged one and had all the girls sign it for ya.. hahahahahahahaha
