Besides finding a sealed copy of their LP last weekend I have (with thanks to Konstantin) starting chatting with Zebba about a reissue.

Again, this is just preliminary, but figured i would let people know the door has been opened.

i'm a huge thrash fan from back in the day and have a hard time sitting through this entire record. after about 3 songs, i'm bored to tears. Odd, because I keep seeing it get alot of praise.

Well, EIGHT months have passed and I got a random message from Zebba and it seems they are ready to start working on this reissue!

Good to hear about the reissue for those that do not own the first pressing. This album is a solid piece of Testament-style thrash and the production is good. Any idea if the reissue will feature bonus tracks of any sort? (possibly the demo songs?)

Zebba is trying to track down his original tapes. Hasn't had any luck so far. There are rips online but I prefer not to use those if I don't have to.

I would also suggest focusing on the 1988 and 1991 demos if possible. That ones feature tracks that are not on the album so they may be a treat for those of us (like me) who have the first pressing already.

Also in the case of this album I think massive remastering is really not needed. The production was pretty good.

Last night at band practice, I was looking at a CANDLEMASS reproduction show poster my drummer has on his wall.

MEZZROW were the opening band.

Neither of us had ever heard of them though.

This reissue is currently on hold. Apparently, two other members have been negotiating a separate deal but never informed the three Karlsson brothers about it. Welcome to the world of reissues, everyone.

I will keep you posted as I find out more information. This could wind up being on another label, but either way it's being done by someone. haha.

Shame about that. I found that there a select few labels that do reissues RIGHT and Divebomb is among them (although recent reissues by Century Media have been better). Still for all those that do not have this album I hope it gets reissued soon.

Zebba was very excited (after long delay) to get it back out there but then found out about these other plans just a few days ago.

I am hoping to still get the job, but I have learned to keep my nose out of band issues and just be there when called upon to put a reissue together.
