Mid tracking. Unmixed and unpleased.

Originally, I thought that this was sounding okay while I was tracking. A day and a set of fresh ears later, not so much. I'm getting ready to start mixing soon and would really appreciate any input you guys could give me. I'm relatively new to the craft and have followed this forum for a short while and couldn't be more appreciative of the info I've gathered from those of you that give back. Also, this is just the instrumentals as I haven't tracked vocals for it yet. Song has virtually no mixing done with the exception of drums.
