Hi! Do you think mixing midi drums it is better to route out of the sampler or not? What are the differences? Will it sound thinker? More wide?

Always mix in the DAW. The plugins sound much better then the sampler ones. It will sound much better. Just try it and see for yourself! :)

It really depends on your plugins and how familiar you are with the sampler's plugins. Personally i always route them out and process them on the DAW, so if you are more familiar with your Daw plugins than the sampler's plugins, i suggest you try it too . Making drums wider and thicker doesnt have to with routing everything out of the sampler or not, it is a matter of processing them accordingly (EQ,stero imaging, compressing etc). Use the bleed option inside the sampler so you get more "live" drums feel in the samples.

I also prefer processing drums outside a sampler, just 'cause it's more flexible. E.g., you can use some exciter or a bass harmonics generator plug-in on an individual drum channel, which would be impossible inside the sampler. Or you're able to make a completely free routing for your drum mics signal, whatever.

BTW, which samplers do you know, which provides an FX processing in the box? I recall Toontrack (EZ, SD), BFD, Addictive Drums and some Kontakt libraries.

It's more flexible, and that way you also have a workflow you can apply on both real drums and midi ones, which is something I think really important, cause you're more efficient that way, and as Fantafuture92 said I don't see a reason why one would mix sampled drums differently from real ones.
