I've got the Toontrack pack you're speaking of. The double kick in it is insane and almost sounds a bit artificial to me. Maybe cause I don't know any drummers that could keep that double kick going for long. Use it selectively. Groove Monkey Metal is great. Platinum Samples is OK. Slam Tracks is pretty good but when I select a groove it sometimes does weird stuff and loads up with parts of the groove on separate tracks and I need to merge it. Kind of a pain in the ass. I use the Drumkit from Hell and Metal Foundry midi a lot-its very practical. Toontrack sent me the EZ drummer packs when I bought New York and Foundry so I could install it if I bought it (why would I with Superior right??) Loading EZ cd's up on my computer means although EZ is not activated I have all the EZ midi available.
